A Snowy Weekend and MPM

We enjoyed our first snowfall of the winter season on Saturday.
It was, as it always is, absolutely breathtaking.

I hope I never become so jaded
that I don't lose my breath in wonder
as the first snowflakes come swirling down.

In these last few weeks before Christmas,
as days get busier with shopping, baking,
kids concerts, activities and field trips,
it becomes even more important to plan meals and try to stick to a budget.

Here's our meal plan for this week:

Monday: Hobo Dinner (holdover from last week)
Tuesday: artichoke pasta
Wednesday: Grilled cheese and tomato soup
Thursday: Cheeseburger macaroni
Friday: Apple pancake and sausage
Saturday: Chili and Frito pies with cheddar and sour cream
Sunday: Brown sugar chicken and rice

I am ready for at least one good snow. It's been too long since we have had one. I would love for you to join me for Crock Pot Wednesday. Come check it out.

I love the Hobo Dinner idea. Do you prepare those ahead and put them in your freezer? That would be a quick meal to pull out if you were in a hurry. Great idea. Thanks for sharing!
