I have been writing on this blog,
inconsistently but determinedly,
since January 2007.
That is three years and three months of our lives on record.
When I started three years ago,
I could write more freely about the kids.
While the two older ones had a vague knowledge of the blog,
they were completely disinterested.
I could write in adoration or vent my frustration.
As time has passed, I have been forced to edit much more closely.
Even my youngest will say to me "Don't blog this" or
"You can take this picture but don't put it on your blog."
Consequently, I blog somewhat less often.
Like many areas of my life, I have to figure out how to process this new stage
and move forward into a new phase of life.
I treasure the stories and moments recorded in the past
and am amazed at the changes my kids have gone through-
physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.
I can hardly wait to see what the next three years will bring!

Congrats on 3 years. I'm sure I'll be at the point soon...right now they make all sorts of goofy faces and want to know why they're not on the blog ;) Enjoy the weekend!
Congratulations on three years of great writing! You do a fantastic job of writing about the kids. I know how challenging it is (mine don't allow any blogging about them now) but you are always so respectful and loving. I love reading your blog and I'm also really thankful that you encouraged me to start my own. Here's to many more years of blogging!
Happy anniversary! Congratulations on your 3-year milestone. I love reading your blog. You have great insights and always make me laugh. Looking forward to the next 3 years ... and beyond!
