MLK Day

Happy MLK Day to everyone.

I'm having a somewhat lazy morning today.
I could hear the boys downstairs so I peeked over the loft to see what they were up to:
Chris is playing the Wii (Madden) and I could hear Trey but I couldn't see him.
Upon asking, I find out he is stuffed into the large wicker container that holds all our winter throws, playing his D.S.
I don't even know what to think about that child, except that I long to get him to adulthood intact.

Goals are loose for today:
I need to put away three baskets of clean laundry (well, put it in the proper rooms to be put away by their owners)
and do a load or two of dirty laundry.
Then, I'm taking the boys to an indoor rollerskating rink to burn off some energy.
Kate has exams tomorrow so she'll be studying, although she could get lucky and have school delayed or canceled tomorrow due to some expected ice.
To end the day, Kate has volleyball.

Here's our menu plan for the week:

Monday: Parmesan tilapia, rice, peas.
Tuesday: Country ribs, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies.
Wednesday: Chicken pot pie.
Thursday: Beef and Paprika stew (new recipe from Pioneer Woman's site)
Friday: Leftovers.

I know what you mean about getting your son into adulthood intact. I have one of those, too! Thanks for posting your menu. It sounds delicious and gave me inspiration to actually do that this week, too. It really does help.
