Update on Lucy, the Wonder Winnie Pig!

Thank you for all your comments
about Lucy, the resident hamster/winnie pig extraordinaire!

It has been really amusing to read the comments.

Some of you have a twisted sense of humor, like me,
and found yourselves laughing over the post
and probably snickering as you replayed it in your head later on.

Some of you were both amused and horrified simultaneously.

Some of you, like my dear Sister in Law, were left broken and haunted
by the image of the red eyed rodent with its eyeball popping out...
I'm right there with ya, sister!

But today, I bring tidings of great joy!

Lucy Hamlet is alive, well and....uh..... Kicking!

Seriously, all kidding aside,
she is totally fine.
No limp, no blood, no obvious injury.
Both of her eyeballs remain firmly affixed in her head.
:::::snort!:::::

Thanks for reading
and commenting
and laughing along with me
as we all go through this crazy trip called life!

Well, I, for one, am certainly relieved that you updated us on Lucy!

I still cringe when I think about popping an eyeball back in!

I think you did great! You did what needed to be done for your child's hamster and I applaud you for it. Yea!! Hopefully they will remember how calmly you handled the situation and will be able to deal with similar situations with grace in their lives. And yes, I was laughing my head off!! Remember Richard's pet duckling, Racer? It wasn't funny at the time when he was squished, but in the telling over the years we have managed a few snickers!
Thanks for sharing and I'm so happy that Lucy lives and has no apparent injuries.
Love,
MOM

I'm so glad to hear that Lucy is doing well. I think you might need to add a K to her name!
