Menu Plan Monday

Tomorrow starts the first day of the school year, 2008-2009!
This is the last year I will have two kids in the same school
for a LONG time.

Trey and Chris are both in elementary this year.
After this year, they won't be in the same school
until Chris is a senior and Trey is a freshman.

Chris and Kate have not been in the same school
for two years now.
They will rejoin each other for one year,
when Kate is a senior and Chris is a freshman.

Yep, after this year life will be MUCH more complicated!

So have you all heard of Tastebook?
My SIL told me about it and it is such a neat idea!
Essentially, you can put all your favorite family recipes up on to this site.
You can choose which to keep private, which to share, etc.
You can upload recipes from Allrecipes.com or Epicurious.

THEN, you can add notes, special stories, photos etc
to personalize it
and then have it bound into a cookbook!

Isn't that such a neat idea?
I think it would make a perfect gift for a child going off to college
or getting married.

Is anyone else working on a Tastebook?
--------------------

Here is our menu plan for the week.
I hope I give someone a few good ideas!

Sunday: artichoke pasta
Monday: apple puff pancake, breakfast meats, fresh fruit
Tuesday: shredded pork bbq sandwiches, twice baked potatoes
Wednesday: Rotini with homemade meat sauce, garlic bread (carry over from last week)
Thursday: whole grain breaded tilapia, corn pudding, green beans
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday- vegetable beef soup, french bread
