Half a Month down

Hi all,

How ya be? :-)

We are pretty much sick around here.
Various people in various stages of having colds
and feeling junky.

The two older kids had basketball games today.
Chris made it through half the game
and just didn't feel up to it.
Kate, however, totally rocked her game!
She was the best defender on her team today;
by the end I was calling her Tower of Terror
because with her height combined with her reach
when her hands are up, there is no getting a shot off around her.
I am really proud of Kate.
She showed no signs of athleticism until this year
and she has just taken off and really enjoys this sport.
Makes me really happy to see.

Rob and I are the first half month into our
"Get a Grip on our Finances" regime
a la Dave Ramsey.
So far, so good.
If we continue at this current rate,
we should be able to make good progress.

I'm driving Rob a bit crazy though.
The way I attack any problem is to go all out
and so I have been relentless and obsessive.
Poor guy.

I am sorry you are all still not feeling great. But wow about Kate! I am really impressed and happy for her. It is so cool seeing your kids doing well at something. Really cool.

Ugh! I hate it when everyone is sick.

Tower of Terror, huh? That's so cool! My kids have never really been into sports either - neither of them have competitive bones. Maybe I shouldn't give up hope just yet though. Big high five to Kate!!!
