Top Ten Things I Love About Summer
1) Summer hairdos-- ponytails rule!
2) Pool Parties-- just about every weekend, baby! Last minute or planned, easy entertaining.
3) Cool Showers-- on a hot, humid day, there is nothing more refreshing.
4) Sleeping in Late-- it's shameful. This morning I woke up after ten AM. If I didn't have children, I would be a lazy sloth.
5) Impromptu get togethers-- zoos, parks, field trips. No schedules to adhere to!
6) Dutch Wonderland! Need I say more? I love it.
7)Tennis at Night Under the Lights-- love my tennis girls! Smooch!
8) Grilling dinner and eating outside-- mosquitos be damned!
9) Shorts, tshirts and sandals for everyone-- means far less loads of laundry to do.
10) Popsicle stained smiling mouths.
BONUS-- Fireflies, the smell of suntan lotion and Clementine oranges!

I totally agree!
Loved the list! One thing I really miss living here in Miami is that there are no fireflies. Can you imagine a childhood without catching fireflies on a summer evening? I know, it's very sad. We saw some while we were in Knoxville and my kids were in awe. And I love popsicle-stained faces too!
All my most favourite things too. This year the UK is drowning, no sunshine and quite literally flooding and storms all summer long. I love the smell of summer evenings, BBQs and warm air. Divine!
Yes, yes and yes! Except #4 because my children wake up at the crack of dawn - 6 am is a good morning. Nice hunh?
