Gorgeous Fall Days

The weather here lately has been absolutely GORGEOUS!

There is nothing like the mid-Atlantic in the Fall.

The temperatures are warm but not hot during the day

and cool in the evening- perfect for sleeping.

Leaves are changing colors- reds, oranges, yellows in every imaginable shade

and then twirling to the ground like a gentle rainstorm.

Along the curbs, they have dried out, so that as you walk you get to enjoy

the pleasing :::crunch, crunch, crunch::: under your feet.

Pumpkins are out, mums are in bloom and I LOVE FALL!

The menu plan went really well this week.

The only thing I did not make was the teriyaki chicken;

I pushed that off until next week because the guys were scarfing up chips, salsa, queso and guac during the football games and I figured after all that,

they could not possibly be hungry.

So we just had pizza.

Here's our menu plan for the week:

Monday: Teriyaki chicken, rice, veg.

Tuesday: Artichoke pasta

Wednesday: Breakfast supper

Thursday: Mock chicken-pot-pie over egg noodles

Friday: Salsa chicken soft tacos

Saturday: Leftovers
