A little bit of everything and nothing much.

So, as I write this, it is 8:50 PM on a Monday night.

According to Accuweather, there is a 6% chance of rain between 8 PM and 11 PM tonight.
Hmmm, tell that to the pouring rain, thunder and lightning outside my window
RIGHT NOW.
Man, it would be so awesome to be a meteorologist.
You can be wrong as much as you want and no one does a damn thing about it!

I wonder if Rob and Chris are being rained on at the baseball game they are attending
RIGHT NOW. Major leagues. Good tickets. That would rot!

Sorry I have been gone for so, so long.
Since my last post, I have been on a girls' trip to the beach.
Here are some photos of that trip:

osprey in their nest
look carefully...what do you see??
Then, I came home for a week and left to visit my dad in Austin.
Let me tell you, he was looking MIGHTY GOOD!
GO DAD!! He rallied from feeling sick and yucky and not eating
and instead looks just like my Daddy should. :-)
We had a great time. Thanks Dad and Joenne for having me
and thanks to Toni and Kendall for the nudge to head down there.

In between those two trips, I took the kids to Six Flags and to a Petting Farm.
Here's three pictures from that:

talk about cauliflower ear. LOL!
this little goat was such a poser! the kids making their way through the pine tree maze.

And now, tomorrow, I leave with the boys on a two day trip
to Luray Caverns and to the Massanutten Water Park.
Kate is at camp and we are abandoning poor Rob once again.
He is more than slightly bitter at this point.

Speaking of Rob, I just got a call from him.
He and Chris are indeed getting rain out at the ball field.
He said it is very loud and exciting.
Not sure that would have been my reaction, but whatever!

Thanks for the update. I'd been wondering what you've been up to. Glad to hear your dad is doing well.

It sounds like you are having a fantastic summer although I have to admit I feel a little sorry for Rob. Have a great trip with the boys!
