A Worry and a Yawn

Happy post-Memorial Day!

We had a very nice three day weekend.
Now it is the early morning/middle of the night hours
of Tuesday and I can't sleep.

After tossing and turning for a while,
I started feeling guilty
because I was clearly disturbing Rob's sleep.
Although he was not awake,
he would toss and turn when I did,
so I came on downstairs for a while.

So here I sit in the living room,
listening to the rain come down.
I am worrying about the gutters.
The rain is overflowing because they are backed up
and the overflow is causing leaking in the basement.
I am getting estimates for gutter guards this week.

There are so many other things on my list
of things to do or things to remember.
Forms to fill out and fees to pay for summer activities,
band concerts and school activities abound
these last three weeks of school.
Money.. always worrying about money.
My dad..
Kate's confirmation this weekend
and the upcoming week-long trip to Atlanta in five days.

So much to juggle!

((((Leeann)))) Worry is an unavoidable consequence of being a grown-up. House repairs and kid expenses are always going to be there. It's no fun.

I am praying for your Dad.
