A Slice of Heaven

I've never had the pleasure

of being to the Outer Banks before. 

I've been to the Delaware beaches,

Florida beaches

and Maryland beaches. 

But man, this area is something else.

We are staying in a section called Buck Island

and the beach here is nothing short of phenomenal. 

Nice wide shoreline with super soft white sand.

Sandbars that allow small children to go fairly far out in the ocean

while not being too deep.

Waves that are great for boogie boarding but gentle overall.

We are having a wonderful time.
