I can honestly say that I've never heard of those names.

You have a great idea Leeann...I bet it's really interesting to see how their thoughts change over the years.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you about a couple of comments you left on my blog. I haven't commented much at all in the past couple of weeks. I just don't seem to have quite enough hours in my day!

Anyway, you asked about how to make your son's name in the possessive form. I was taught that it would be Chris' toys, NOT Chris's toys, but I checked http://www.english-zone.com/spelling/possessives.html and they show that either way is now acceptable. Funny how that stuff changes over the years.

Also, we do not live in a really remote area. My husband's brother and sister in law live around the corner from us, which actually puts their house sort of behind ours and over to the side a little. Our lot is a little over an acre, so it seems like we have a lot of yard. His sister and brother in law, who are building next to us, have a lot that is a little under an acre, and on the other side of them we have an additional 2/3 acre lot in case one of our boys want to build later on. They've both said that they do not want to, but they're only 17 and 21 and may change their minds.

We've never had five deer at one time around our house...that must have been an amazing sight! As far as a groundhog scaling a tree...oh my! That was definitely one frightened groundhog!Cindihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05223695299377158162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125806503599042422.post-58895193310705757182008-10-17T11:32:00.000-04:002008-10-17T11:32:00.000-04:00I love this idea...hope you don't mind if I "steal...I love this idea...hope you don't mind if I "steal" it!
Their favorite names also cracked me up.
Fun!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125806503599042422.post-86892434455635689042008-10-17T10:05:00.000-04:002008-10-17T10:05:00.000-04:00How cool is this?!?! Doing this also shows your kids how much of an engaged parent you are which I'll bet also makes them feel more secure. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125806503599042422.post-87912157693731206572008-10-16T20:11:00.000-04:002008-10-16T20:11:00.000-04:00What a great idea.
